*i make a lot of zines. like a lot. from power ranges to the death of coral reefs and how scientists can hear the birth of neutron stars through gravitational waves. doomed is my newest zine. it’s a poetic story of a black hole with legs searching for something it longs for.

camila machado (she/they) is a brazilian artist and illustrator based in Hamburg, working on creating experiences through drawings, often inspired by themes such nature, mental health and queerness.
after imagining extra dimensions and quantum theories during her PhD in physics, camila started to take serious the doodles around her calculations.
she brings her experimental approach to research forms, characters and stories using different materials.
